A capped stone is a stone that has been shaped, which has both the original matrix and ammolite gem material. It then has a cap adhered to it, made of a hard glass like material (stabilizing resin). This helps to protect and stabilize the stone, while bringing out the beautiful colours.

Nuggets are uniquely shaped pieces of ammolite/ammonite. They are edge pieces of the fossil that have been crushed so that the gem material is found all around the nugget. These are very hard to find and as far as we know are unlisted anywhere else. These are all hand cut and polished, a very special stone.

Brilliant pieces of ammolite in various sizes, which are not processed into naturals or triplets. Ideal as a collectors piece or used in some other creative endeavour.
